May I introduce myself: I am Mareike, 23-years old and from Hamburg / Germany.
From 2015 til 2016 I fulfilled my dream and moved to the UK, where I was working as an
Au Pair in a city near London. The idea of this blog was to share my thoughts and experiences with my family and friends while I was abroad.

Meanwhile I am back in Germany and realized another wish of mine as I am now working
in the tourism branch.
Whenever I can, l pursue my passions, which involves to visit concerts & festivals, explore new places and take pictures of what inspires me.
If my creativity isnt´t currently fooling me again, I am writing about exactly these things here
on the blog. Mainly this is kind of a diary for myself but of course I am happy to see that someone else is interested in what I am sharing with the world wide web.
I am even happier, when my posts cause that someone thinks: good to be here
(on this blog).
